Christmas is in the air! In a few days, we will be celebrationg the merriest season of Christ's birth. A great opportunity for us to show our love and generosity to our brothers in sisters.

There are many ways we could share God's blessings to us. Our gifts may be a material or not, it's the tought that counts.

One great gift that we can give is our blood. Just like what Jesus did, His blood has saved us. Our blood can save (literrally) lives  too. On December 11 and 18, 2009, bloodletting activities were sponsored by the Barangay Blood Council of Rizal and PNP respectively. A total of 8 generous people qualified to be bled at the barangay hall of Barangay Rizal while the later, sponsored by PNP at the SB Session hall,  recorded 19 donors.

TPH-Blood Network Services assisted the December 11 bloodletting while Philippine National Red Cross Tarlac Chapter assisted the next.

The LGU is encouraging other barangays to sponsor bloodlettings too.
