Some Important Facts about Suaverdez

Barangay Suaverdez was a Sitio of Barangay Bantog during the early 60’s until it was created as a barrio in 1968 through the initiative of the late Mayor Catalino O. Cruz. The first barangay officials were as follows:

THE SEAL

The three pictures represent the various agricultural products of Barangay Suaverdez.

The picture at the center represent the Anahaw, seal of the town of Anao in which Barangay Suaverdez is one of its barangays. In both sides of the logo is the ylang-ylang flower which represents the abundance of ylang-ylang flowers that made the town famous in the Philippines.

The three persons at the bottom holding each other represents solidarity of the people regardless of religious and political beliefs.

The picture at the lower left side of the logo represents the happy farmers where harvests abounds.
