Galletes wins Mutya ng Anao 09 title

Anao, Tarlac --- San Francisco’s Miss Bernadette Galletes was crowned Mutya ng Anao 2009 on Saturday, March 7, emerging among the 11 contestants coming from different barangays and sectors in Anao in the beauty pageant held at the Liwasang Procopio Auditorium.

Galletes, 19, was very happy as her victory was announced at the audience of the Liwasan, where she beat 10 other candidates.

Miss Galletes also got the Best in Swimsuit.

Everybody’s excitement to see the candidates come to end as the lovely ladies come out of the stage in a filipiñana production number with their all-white modern mestiza dress.

Heat and Intensity filled the auditorium that night of selection with the audience shouting and cheering the names of their own bet as they walk on the runway with their sexy swimwear and elegant modern filipiñana gown.

Ms. Business Sector Eden Gamboa was adjudged as the Mutya ng Anao-1st runner up followed by Ms. Hernando-Sto. Domingo Maria Bea Esteban who was announced as the 2nd runner-up. Jeanifer Cuchapin of Campos-Baguindoc who bagged the Best in Modern Filipiñana Attire and Ms. Sheryl Cruz of Poblacion San Roque who was awarded with the Ms. Surfer's Choice award ranked 4th and 5th respectively (3rd & 4th runners up).

Ms. Lea Prado of Don Ramon-Carmen was chosen by her co-candidates as the Miss Friendship and was also awarded as Miss Talk 'n Txt by the Smart Communications, major sponsor of the Mutya ng Anao 2009. Miss Rizal-San Juan Maria Cleofe Miguel got the Miss photogenic and also awarded the best in talent.

The night was made even more lively by Miss Nerisa Manzano, 2006 Miss Tarlac City and DJ Rommel of One FM Radio Station, emcees of the said event.

Board of Judges of the Final Selection, which according to the emcee was given the most difficult task, were Municipality of Ramos Mayor Gregoria Manglicmot, Ms. Tarlac City Runner up Mary Jane Gama, Smart Communications-Operations Manager Mr. Jacinto Cura III, Tarlac City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Lilia Santiago, Municipality of San Clemente Mayor Roseller Toledo, DA-Regional HVCC Coordinator Mr. Fernando Lorenzo and Municipality of Victoria Mayor Candido Guiam II

“I am happy and satisfied with the outcome of the program after almost 2 months of preparations”, said by Mrs. Justina Trinidad, Chairman of the Beauty Pageant.

Mutya ng Anao 2009 winners will be crowned on the Coronation Night on Saturday, March 14 and they will have thier parade on March 15.
