Mayor Edgardo S. Felipe attended the 2009 National Sandugo Award dubbed with the theme “Isang Puntos  Ko Para sa Sandaang Porsiyento” and received his plaque of recognition as one of the awardees on July 29, 2009 at the Diamond Hotel, Manila.

The prestigious award is given by the Department of Health to local chief executives of provinces, cities and municipalities with highly-exceptional and sustainable blood programs.

The plaque was awarded by Secretary Francisco Duque of the DOH and the National Blood Coordinator.

Coun. Jocelyn Concepcion and Dr. Amelia T. Bulseco were very happy because their efforts in preparing the documentations for the said award was worth it.
