Mayor Felipe is a 2nd time recipient of National Sandugo Award

For his outstanding support, commitment and active involvement in the promotion of voluntary blood donations toward the achievement of the vision of RA7719 otherwise known as the National Blood Services Act, Honorable Mayor received for the second time the Sandugo Award for Outstanding Local Government Executive Award by the Department of Health in an awarding ceremony held at Heritage Hotel, Pasay City on July 28, 2010.

Velasco and Torres receive National Sandugo Award

Barangay Captains Wilfredo Velasco and Rosemarie Torres both received a National Sandugo Award for Barangay Captains on July 16, 2010 at Batangas.

This is the first time in the Province of Tarlac that there will be recipients of the National Sandugo Award for barangay captains.

1st SANDARA Awards held

The Anao Municipal Blood Council held its 1st SANDARA Awards in recognition to the people who supported the Voluntary Blood Program of the Municipality of Anao on July 12, 2010 at the municipal covered court.

In the MBC’s 3rd year of recognizing the people behind the success of the municipality’s blood programs, the SANDARA Awards was chosen to be the title because it is believed that this represents best the mission to of the council to have 100% voluntary blood donations in Anao, in the local dialect, SANga-gasot a porsiento iti panangidonar ti DARA-the phrase where SANDARA was coined.
