Cultural b. biological c. use of predators d. use of parasitic · Fishery Every year, the Bureau of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources is celebrating fish conservation month every October, and these the time for the acquisition and distribution to fishpond owners to stock their fishpond to augment/ uplift their living condition especially to fisher folks, and these is given free. · Municipal Plant Nursery Project One way of promoting different varieties of seedlings is to have a municipal nursery project in which plants/ seedlings are to be propagated, taking care of and used as planting materials in the community. The municipal nursery is already established and located at Brgy. Poblacion Anao, Tarlac. There are already 6,785 Ylang- ylang seedlings and other different varieties of fruit trees seedlings. Some seedlings of Ylang- ylang were distributed to the different schools used for their tree planting program. · Greenhouse Project The D.A High Value Commercial Crops program has put emphasis on greenhouse and other protective culture of commercial vegetables as one of its main thrust in providing better livelihood for farmers. FFS Greenhouse vegetable program is now going on to train farmers in greenhouse cultural management of selective short- term, high value crops as well as open field planting using plastic culture. There are 60 selected farmers are now attending FFS greenhouse on vegetables at Brgy. San Jose North Anao, Tarlac assisted by the Municipal Agriculture Office in cooperation with Harbest Philippines and D.A. RFU- III. Different varieties of Hybrid Vegetable Seeds were distributed to farmers for their backyard garden to augment their living. · Livestock Program There are four species of livestock program in the Municipal Agriculture Office, (1) Carabao dispersal, (2) cattle dispersal, (3) swine dispersal, and (4) goat dispersal. To avail the following dispersal program, you are required to complete the following: 1. Recent Residence Certificate (Cedula) 2. Barangay Captain Endorsement letter 3. Barangay Clearance 4. I.D. picture (1X1) 5. Subscription fee (P 50.00) 6. Memorandum of Agreement/ Memorandum Receipt · Animal Protection Every year the office is conducting Free Anti- Rabies Vaccination in every barangay to prevent case of rabies of dogs and cats. If there are available vaccines such as hog cholera, B- complex vitamins the farmer can avail them for free. · Soil Amelioration Program Distribution of commercial fertilizer (w/ subsidy), organic fertilizers and other soil ameliorants to farm cluster. · FITS (Farmers Information Technology Services) To deliver system established in a given area nearest the majority of the lowland and upland farmers, processors, traders and entrepreneurs to enable them fast access to information highway. It is a center that facilitates provision of information and technology services in agriculture, forestry and natural resources in forms appropriate to clients. h A mechanism that enables dynamic feedbacks to match the needs of the clients and the services provided.
