The local government assessment organization shall cover or in-charge in the administration appraisal and assessment of real properties for taxation purposes. Real property tax administration is the mobilization of real property taxes as a meaningful source of revenues or the platform of LGU’s revenue raising efforts. Assessment personnel here in Anao are composed of one (1) Municipal Assessor, one (1) Local Assessment Operations Officer (LAOOI) and one (1) Assessment Clerk. Assessment personnel are responsible for ensuring that property appraisal and assessment particularly for a tax purpose is accurate so that the tax burden will be distributed equitably.
