Before the Nutrition Month ends, a culminating activity was organized by the Municipal Nutrition Council on July 31, 2009 held at the covered court and was participated by the barangay officias and health workers, DepEd teachers and students and the senior citizens following the theme "Wastong Nutrisyon ay Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases ay Iwasan".

Mayor Felipe, in his message, disscussed the importance of having a healthy lifestyle.

The program was highlighted with different health and nutrition-related activities. The following are the lineup of activities:

Mayor Edgardo S. Felipe received the 2009 National Sandugo Award of the DOH on July 29, 2009 @ Diamond Hotel, Manila.
